Does any 54mm WDT tool fit the Chefman Crema Supreme?

No. The nominal size is only the first check. Model-specific locking geometry, basket depth, mounting pattern, or clearance may also matter. Portafilter ear/lug pattern is treated as a proprietary 'chefman-54' family. A third-party portafilter that is the correct 54mm diameter (for example a 'Breville-54' bottomless or spouted portafilter) may NOT rotate and lock into this group head. Verify ear/lug fit for THIS machine before buying any replacement or bottomless portafilter - do not assume '54mm' equals compatible. There is no established third-party portafilter aftermarket for the chefman-54 ear pattern.

Is a WDT tool the first upgrade to buy?
