Descale the La Specialista Arte Evo
The Arte Evo uses a scale-sensitive thermoblock, so periodic descaling keeps flow, temperature and shot timing stable. The machine has a descale indicator - run the cycle when it prompts or on your manual's schedule.
When the machine's descale indicator lights, or on the interval in your manual - check your manual for the exact trigger for your water hardness.

Step by step
- Empty the drip tray and water tank, then fill the tank with fresh water mixed with De'Longhi EcoDecalk or an equivalent espresso-machine descaler at the ratio stated in your manual.
- Place a large container under the group and steam wand, then run the machine's descale cycle following the on-machine prompts.
- When the solution is used up, refill the tank with clean fresh water and run one or more full rinse cycles to flush all descaler from the boiler and lines.
- Wipe down the group, portafilter and drip tray, and reset the descale indicator if your model requires it.
