54mm (Breville) and 58mm baskets, tampers, and portafilters - wrong size for this 51mm machine.Generic 'universal 51mm' parts that don't specifically confirm De'Longhi/SMEG Dedica-family ear fit.Replacement shower screens or group gaskets marketed for prosumer groups - this integrated thermoblock group isn't user-serviceable that way.

Common wrong buys: Expecting cafe-grade espresso from the stock pressurized dual-wall baskets - they inflate crema and hide grind, so the shot won't taste like a proper single-wall pull. · Judging the machine by latte art - the single-hole wand is weak; going too fast or using warm/low-fat milk gives thin, bubbly foam. · Buying 54mm or 58mm accessories - this is a 51mm machine and larger baskets/tampers/portafilters won't fit. · Skipping descaling - the thermoblock scales up with hard water and De'Longhi flags descaling as core maintenance. · Grinding fine for a pressurized basket, which chokes flow; pressurized baskets want a coarser grind than a single-wall basket.
