DeLonghi espresso machines and their ecosystem

All nine DeLonghi passports we track use a nominal 51mm delonghi-51 group, spanning entry machines and grinder-integrated La Specialista models. Their ear records are not uniform, so the shared diameter narrows accessory searches without establishing portafilter-body fit.

Before you assume anything fits

Brand compatibility is not model compatibility, especially when several ear geometries sit behind the same nominal 51mm label. Decide from the exact machine page and model code, not the DeLonghi name alone.

Size exceptions to know

  • Five passports record delonghi-51 ears, the La Specialista Arte Evo records la-specialista-51 geometry, and three passports have unverified ear geometry. A portafilter body needs an exact model-specific fit claim.
  • The COM530M and COM532M are tier-2 passports with thin accessory ecosystems. Their machine pages are generated but deliberately excluded from indexing.

Typical upgrade pattern

A 51mm tamper appears in the first three recorded upgrade positions for eight of the nine DeLonghi passports, and a filter basket appears there for seven. Whether a basket change is useful depends on the included basket, grinder control, and model-specific portafilter constraints.
