  • Filter basket - A single-wall (non-pressurized) 51mm basket is the single biggest jump - it forces proper grind, dose, and tamp instead of faking crema with a valve. IMS makes Dedica-fit 51mm baskets.

  • A second or aftermarket steam wand - the thermoblock and panarello are the hard ceiling; removing the panarello sleeve is the most that's worth trying.
  • Native 51mm distributors and puck screens - the aftermarket here is genuinely thin; don't chase what barely exists.
