  • Filter basket - A precision single-wall 58mm basket (IMS or VST) is the highest-leverage hardware upgrade once you have a grinder - sharper, more even extraction than the stock basket. Use the single-wall basket the machine already ships, not the pressurized one.

  • A PID kit - the Evo already ships near 9 bar and brews well stock; temperature PID is a refinement, not a day-one need.
  • An OPV mod - the Evo Pro is factory-set to roughly 9 bar, unlike older Classic Pros that often needed one.
